Magazine Subscriptions
Apollo Models & Toys offers the only UK subscription service for Sport Rocketry magazine. Subscriptions are for 6 (six) issues. Since Sport Rocketry is a bi-monthly publication, the subscription period will normally cover a period of 1 (one) year. However, due to the nature of importing and distributing periodicals from the USA, it is possible (on rare occasions) that a specific issue may become unavailable. Should this situation occur, Apollo Models & Toys will extend all active subscriptions by 1 (one) issue, thereby ensuring that all subscribers will receive the full complement of 6 (six) issues, although the provided issues may not be consecutive.
Subscription price includes First-Class UK delivery.
Cancellations require 2 months written notice, and a pro-rata refund will be issued for the unused portion.

Computer Software
Apollo Models & Toys is an authorised reseller of Rocksim & SpaceCAD, they are rocketry design and simulation software package. Although we sell Rocksim & SpaceCAD, we cannot provide technical support for the product. All installation, technical questions, and bug reports should be directed either to the respected companies web site or as instructed in the software documentation. Please ensure that your system requirements are adequate for Rocksim & SpaceCAD. Once the software is purchased, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. Any defective software medium will be replaced at the discretion of Apollo Models & Toys as we maintain a strict "No Tolerance" stance on software piracy.

Gift Vouchers
These vouchers can be redeemed only at Apollo Models & Toys, for products and services, up to the face value. They cannot be exchanged for cash. Orders exceeding the face value of any voucher must be accompanied by additional payment to cover the difference. When redeemed, the unused amount of any voucher's face value is lost. Vouchers expire 2 (two) years from date of issue, and have no value after expiration. Vouchers are void if altered. Apollo Models & Toys incorporates methods to prevent voucher fraud and reserves the right to refuse a voucher if any evidence of fraud is suspected.

How to Order
Our shopping basket system in an online extension of our existing mail order system which now helps you to produce an online order for printing off and sending to us along with your cheque. No more filling the order form out by hand though if you still prefer the old method of ringing us up to place an order then please do so! You can also place and order and ring us (01785 223955) afterwards if you would like to pay via credit card.

Our price/stock list is updated manually to reflect which items are currently available. However, there may be times when the stock status on the website maybe out of sync with the actually stock quantities due to the manual updating procedure.

We will accept reservations on any item we stock. Reservations on available items will be held for 5 business days, pending receipt of order and clearance of payment. Reservations on an unavailable item will be held until it becomes available, at which time we will notify you. Should you still want the item, the reservation will be held for an additional 5 business days, pending receipt of order and clearance of payment.

Currently, we accept payment ONLY in British Sterling (GBP) by cash, cheque or Postal Order or by other currencies via our payment gateway.
Please do not post cash payments, as we cannot accept responsibility for the loss.

Please print the shopping basket and be sure to include it with your cheque/Postal Order payment.

Please include your cheque guarantee card number on the back of the cheque.

Post and Packing Charges.
      Our "UK Standard Shipping Methods" (UK SSMs) is Royal Mail/Parcelforce Only. At the sole discretion of Apollo Models & Toys, the UK SSM used will be dependent on the size, contents, value, and/or weight of an order. Please allow at least 3 business days for delivery.
      UK orders which contain motors are shipped via a courier and incurs a £15.00 Post & Packing charge. Under UK law we have to use a courier to ship motors. The advantage of using this couier is that the goods are delivered the next buisness day.
      For ALL orders to be shipped to destinations outside the UK, the normal UK P&P charge will be replaced by the international cost of shipment PLUS a £12.50 handling fee. Please contact us in advance, so that we may determine the correct charges and we can calculate your total P&P charge prior to order placement.

We will despatch your order upon payment clearance. Our desire is to ship your order complete, as we wish to keep shipping charges to a minimum. Therefore, we recommend you take advantage of our reservation scheme.

Unavailable Items Policy
Should any ordered item be unavailable, we will notify you with expected availability. This notification will include an enquiry, as to how you wish to proceed, BEFORE we deposit your payment.
If unavailable items are a result of your failure to secure a reservation for the order, you will have two options...
Option 1 - Hold your order until it can be despatched complete. Upon payment clearance, we will put aside the currently available items of your order. When all remaining items become available, we will despatch your complete order at that time.
Option 2 - Partially despatch your order. Upon payment clearance, we will immediately despatch the currently available items for your order. When all remaining items become available, we will initiate a subsequent despatch to complete your order. You will be required to submit additional payment to cover the cost of any subsequent shipment PRIOR to its despatch.
Again, we STRONGLY encourage you to utilise our reservation policy to avoid unnecessary complication and expense.
However, if unavailable items are a result of our failure to honour your reservation, we will despatch as much of the order as possible upon payment clearance. We will absorb any additional shipping costs necessary to despatch the remainder of your order to you when those items become available.

Claims
It becomes expensive to pack and ship some products (especially tubing 34 inches in length) so that it absolutely cannot be damaged by abuse in shipment. We take every reasonable precaution in packing your order to ensure damage-free delivery. All parcels are insured, and we continuously monitor Royal Mail shipments to ensure timely delivery to you. If we suspect that a parcel is lost, we will initiate a trace. Should it be proven that the parcel is lost, we will file a claim for the loss and ship you a replacement.
For damaged or missing items in transit, we can provide you with copies of all documents required to file a claim. Dependent upon the circumstances, it may be in your best interest to pursue the claim directly with the transit company.
Please do the following for damaged or missing items...
If the parcel arrives in a visibly damaged condition, or with visible evidence of tampering/pilferage and missing items, IMMEDIATELY examine the contents. If there are damaged or missing items, insist on a signed statement, describing the parcel's condition, from the delivery person. Contact us AT ONCE, so that we can determine the best course of action for filing a claim with the transit company AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
If the parcel is delivered in visibly good condition and you discover hidden damage, or hidden evidence of tampering/pilferage and missing items, IMMEDIATELY contact the transit company to inform them of the problem. Contact us AT ONCE, so that we can determine the best course of action for filing a claim with the transit company AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
